This car was sold new in the UK and raced at Donington and in SS Club events including at Swallow Lane.

Was imported to Australia in 1939 and retained in concours winning order. In 1966 it was purchased by Lance Hill of Bowral south of Sydney and the delightful car deteriorated.

In July 2021 it was purchased by Greg Sanderson also of Bowral who had been trying to acquire it for many years. He intends to have the car perfect restored to original condition by craftsmen in Bowral. Greg is a dedicated Jaguar enthusiast with many cars - and a main Mercedes-Benz dealer in Sydney.

I have been told by the son of Greg they didn't buy it, but did get an XK120 and 140 instead from the same estate. He said the SS Jaguar 100 has gone to the US.
