Car offered at;

Sellers description:
1935 SS90 COMPETITION # 249476
One prototype + 23 production cars were build , here the first production car and only one with special works prepared Alpine competition engine.

Instantly out of date by the early announcement of the new 1936 SS100 as these did benefit of the first OHV engines and bigger brake drums and 90's were convicted to make place.

A great loss as these first SS sports cars were more genuine sporty characters as the later glamorous style 100's.

A1 restoration to it's original specifications and available by spring 2015.

£ 3.250.000,-

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
