Despite the comment of "Lofty" by #39002 I can announce here that #39001 still exist in good health and that it being the one and only oldest in existence SS100 3.5 car.
It has a continues history from Prince Michael of Romenia until today.
Its part of an important SS collection and I will add some pictures at later stage.

My best to all real Jaguar enthusiasts.

From the book - the "Blue sheen" color was an express requirement from the Romanian Ministry of Air (aviation) officials who ordered this car for King Michael 16yo birthday (Oct 25 1937), as they wanted the car to be related to their mission (color of the sky). Car was delivered on Oct 19 just in time for the birthday

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
