I am now the new owner of this car. The fog light lenses and rear bumper parts were included inside the car. I have repaired the fog lights and am now working on the rear bumper parts.

This car was originally Ivory, but has been repainted first in black, then in silver/grey. It was registered in Peterborough England from 1956 to 1966. It was sold by the Cornwall UK dealer HJ Sibley in 1977 and exported to Iowa USA. The first owner in Iowa had it from 1977 to 1988. The second in Iowa had it from 1988 to 2017, and last registered it for road use in 1996.

Just recording here that I got it running and driving this summer and put about 100 miles on it.
Lights, brakes and horns all working fine, so it could be called street legal within the meaning of the term. Updating the condition to "scruffy driver".

I have learned that the original owner was Leonard Simon, owner of Camille Simon Limited at Strand-on-the-Green in Chiswick W4 located on the Thames river west of London, and founded by his grandfather about 1860.
Camille Simon Ltd. was also at times known as Pier House Laundry and The Amalgamated Laundries. They were the largest steam laundry in the greater London area, employing 200, and servicing area hospitals and hotels.
Camille Simon was also a producer of a laundry washing powder known as Simon's Lessive.
The original registration in the Ealing district of Middlesex County northwest of London was probably written out by a county clerk on a registration form as HMG 273, but probably due to bad handwriting the H looked like a K, so it was interpreted as KMG 273, and license plates were ordered by the owner using that number from Hills of London.
