Heritage Notes

First to Henley's, unsold and returned, then to PJ Evans, unsold and returned, then to Henley's, unsold and returned. Held at the factory during the war. Sold to Ian Appleyard of Leeds in July 1947, fitted with a 3-1/2 Litre engine and Jaguar grill badge without the SS initials.

First owner Ian Appleyard won the 1948 International Alpine Rally in this car.
