I restored this car back in the 90s and provided the photos. The last I heard it was in France. Regards, Terry Larson

Thanks Terry. Where did you do the restoration? Do you remember what was done? The car was in France, but was purchased in Monaco and is now back in the states.

Thanks

Tom

Seller's description

Stunning original 1939 SS 100 Jaguar 3.5 Litre Roadster: One of just 116 of the highly sought-after 3.5 litre examples built, this Roadster is an absolutely gorgeous car wearing a quality older restoration by the highly renowned Jaguar expert Terry Larson. Beautiful green paint with saddle leather interior. Currently owned by the same individual for over 25 years in Northeastern United States, and meticulously maintained throughout this period. This specific model has a globetrotting lineage, having previously been owned in Monaco and Paris prior to that. This Jaguar features all necessary matching body and frame serial numbers, and features the original matching numbers 3.5 litre engine that the car was originally assembled with. The car also retains its original gearbox. Mechanically superb, this SS 100 runs and drives as incredibly as it looks. It comes complete with its soft-top and side curtains. It's also absolutely rust free. This is a lovely example of the legendary sports roadster that would be ideal for the Mille Miglia Retro, the Colorado Grand, and other rallies. Of the 308 SS 100 Jaguar roadsters built, this is one of just 116 3.5 Litre examples produced. One of the most aesthetically pleasing cars of its time, the SS 100 is also among the rarest. The SS 100 remains the essential 1930s British sports car.

- One of just 116 3.5 Litre examples built

- Only 308 total SS 100 roadsters produced between the 2.5l and 3.5l models

- Matching serials on body and frame

- Matching serial original engine

- Runs superbly and is immediately drivable

- One of the most aesthetically pleasing cars of its time, and among the most sought-after pre-war sports cars

- **This is not a kit and is not a reproduction. This is an original SS 100 Jaguar**

- Negotiable
